SEBASTIAN BAUER - sound design, performance

Born in Munich/lives in Vienna. Since 2007 he has been working as Light Designer, Composer/Sound designer for theatre and dance/performance in Austria and abroad. Cooperations with: Ibrahim Quraishi, Anne Juren, Steffen Höld, Alev Irmak, Stefan Bohun, Stefanie Wilhelm, Simon Mayer, Lise Lendais, Stephanie Rauch. He is part of „Kollektiv/Rauschen“ an artist and musical performance group (performance and composition for „The morning line“ TBA 21/Vienna, silent film music for Filmarchiv Austria, works for theatre and performance, a sound-installation for the Austrian Pavillion at the  Biennale of Architecture, Venice 2014). As a solo artist and DJ he is known under the alias „homme noir“. Together with Johannes Weckl he is programming the Party-line „BETTERBODENDISKO“ at Brut/Vienna.

HANNA BINDER - performance

Hanna Binder ist eine deutschsprachige Schauspielerin, die in Rumänien geboren wurde. Sie studierte an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch und spielte seit ihrem Abschluss am Maxim Gorki Theater, Theater St. Gallen, Volkstheater Wien, Schauspielhaus Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus Zürich und am WERK X in Wien.
Eigene Arbeiten entstanden in der „Tankstell“ St Gallen, am „Hundsturm" Wien und im „TaF“ Bad Nauheim. Weitergehend spielte und sang sie in der Band „Bruce Springsteen Angefragt“, die auf „Facebook“ bisher 7 „Gefällt mir“-Angaben bekam.
2013 war sie nominiert für den Nestroy Theaterpreis „Bester Nachwuchs“ und 2014 für den Nestroy „Beste Schauspielerin“.
2014 erhielt sie den Dorothea Neff Nachwuchs Preis.



CAMILLE CHANEL - dramaturgy, artistic assistance

1992 in Paris geboren, wohnt jetzt in Wien. Hat Germanistik, Übersetzungswissenschaft und interkultu- relle Vermittlung in Paris und Berlin studiert. Schreibt ihre Masterarbeit über das Unbehagen oder die neue Rolle des Zuschauers in Tanz, Theater und Performance. Hat bei Yael Ronen (Volkstheater), Jérôme Bel (Tanzquartier) und Falk Richter (Schauspielhaus Wien) Regie und Dramaturgie-Praktika belegt und arbeitet u.a. mit Lise Lendais, Anne Juren, Sarah Blumenfeld und Ismaël Tifouche Nieto. Außerdem schreibt sie Theaterkritiken und Stücke und übersetzt junge österreichische DramatikerInnen, wie z.B. Thomas Köck.


MARY KATE CONNOLLY - performance

is a freelance writer, and sometime performer. She leads the MA Creative Practice at Trinity Laban, London. Recent forays into performance have included Old Into New, a collaborative research project produced with the Victoria & Albert Museum and London College of Fashion. Premiered in Prague as part of PQ11, this collaboration is ongoing. Mary Kate writes on performance for a variety of publications in the UK and abroad, including Dance Theatre Journal, RealTime, and Forum Modernes Theater. Her interest in critical writing has led to a number of collaborations around writing and performance, and her work has been published in gallery installations and books, including, most recently, Dance (2012), edited by André Lepecki (Whitechapel Gallery & MIT Press: London). She is editor of Throwing the Body into the Fight: A Portrait of Raimund Hoghe, co-published by The Live Art Development Agency and Intellect, which will launch in Spring 2013.


TALIN Büyükkürkciyan DEMIRCI - performance

is the mother of 7 months old Roza Mira Eceberya, also the co- founder of Transit - İstanbul İmproviations Days and member of Cati Contemporary Dance Artist Association. Graduated from European Dance Development Center/ Holland, Performed her quartet Topsyturvy at Bonn Biennale, Prag/ Festival New Europe and at İstanbul Dance Festival. Created many pieces as well as her solo work “If you open the 40’th room...” at Marseille Dance Festival, Tenerife Auditorio, Artena İtaly and Londonderry England. She has been collaborated at Lost & Founds project with Helena Berthelious and Haim Adri as one of the two Turkish choreographers performed in France, Canary Islands and İstanbul with 10 dancers. She has taken part as a dancer at “Home Sweet Home” piece by Emre Koyuncuoğlu that was performed at A Sul Festival in Faro. Talin has been teaching Contemporary Dance Technique for 5 years at İstanbul Bilgi University Performing Arts Department and graduated from the same university Cultural Studies program in 2012 by giving her thesis on Hemsinli peoples survival by forgetting and hiding. She has also written the book “Feriköy in the memories and now” telling about her home town by personal stories.


VERONIKA EBERHART - performance, music

is a trans-disciplinary artist and musician living in Vienna. She studied Sociology & Gender studies at the University of Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts with the focus on performance art. She has released numerous records and played many shows internationally and nationally from festivals, punk clubs to galleries with her bands Plaided, Tirana and Lime Crush. She also wrote the soundtrack for the documentary FtWTF-Female to What the Fuck (2015, Directors: Katharina Lampert und Cordula Thym) and for the movie Talea (2013, Director: Katharina Mückstein). Her latest Performances include a collaboration (Hinterland) with Julischka Stengele for the Straight To Hell-Festival-Vienna’s First International Queer Performance Festival, a Solo appearance with her piece (Drums for Two) at VBKÖ - Vereinigung bildender Künstlerinnen Österreichs - and another collaboration (Birdhouse/Nuthouse) with the artist Nicholas Hoffman, within the framework of the Exhibition Destination Wien/Kunsthalle Wien.

geboren 1987, lebt und arbeitet in Wien. Sie studierte Theater- und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft in Mainz und Wien, assistierte in der Ausstattung am Staatstheater Mainz, absolvierte Praktika beim Autorentheaterfestival Neue Stücke aus Europa undin der Dramaturgie des Volkstheater Wien und arbeitet seit 2012 in der Produktion bei theatercombinat sowie seit 2014 für freie Künstler und Performancegruppen wie Akemi Takeya und das Schaufenster. Mit VERSATORIUM – Verein für Gedichte und Übersetzen realisiert sie seit 2014 Projekte zwischen Kunst und Wissenschaft.

Anna Feldbein born in Kyrgyzstan, raised in the north of Germany.
Since 2006 theatre and media studies at the University of Vienna/Austria and Lyon II/France. Co-founding member of fiveseasons, an initiative for interdisciplinary art. Freelancer with different vienna-based companies and artists - theatercombinat, CABULA6, Lise Lendais and others.
Since 2012 board member of the IGKW (community of interests of the free and autonomous cultural workers in Vienna).

NICOLE FOUCHER - témoin

Nicole Foucher wurde 1937 in Frankreich geboren und lebt seit 1973 in Wien. Sie arbeitete als Klimaanlagentechniker_in, war zweimal verheiratet und hat vier Töchter. Mit 65 Jahren erfolgte die Transition zur Frau. 2010 drehte die Filmemacherin VIKI Kühn eine Dokumentation zu Nicole Fouchers Geschichte (FOUCHER, Regie: VIKI Kühn, A 2010; digital, Farbe, 18 Min.).

is a sound artist born in France and living in Vienna. After studying the History of art at the Sorbonne in Paris she joined the University of Music and Performative Arts of Vienna in the ELAK (Computer music and Electroacoustic). She works in the area of experimental music as a composer and performer. Her compositional output ranges from live electronic, soundscapes to vocal and visual works.

Clara Reiner was born in France. After finishing law studies in Vienna and Paris she is now studying at the Institute of Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen, Germany. Together with Ryungeun Kwon, Janna Pinsker, Hanna Steinmair, Else Tunemyr and Christopher Weickenmeier she works on dance and performance.

Isolde Schmitt ist freiberufliche Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin und unterrichtet an den Universitäten Wien und Graz. Sie übertitelt Theaterstücke (u. a. für Ariane Mnouchkine, Simon McBurny, Peter Brook, Robert Lepage, und Claude Régy) und hat über 100 Filme untertitelt (u. a. für das Film- museum, Viennale, Erwin Wagenhofer und Hubert Canaval). Sie hat Texte
für Zeitschriften wie „Lichtungen“ und „Die Springerin“ sowie mehrere Bücher (u. a. Meine Ehe mit Marcel Duchamps, Meeting Nairobi, Schamanen- geschichten aus Tuwa) übersetzt.


JOHANN SCHOISWOL - guest artist

Johann Schoiswohl wurde 1979 geboren, er lebt und arbeitet in Wien und Scharnstein. Nach dem Studium der Soziologie und Philosophie an der Uni- versität Wien folgte ein Studium der Kunst und Fotografie an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien mit einem Gastsemester an der Slade School of Fine Arts in London. Mit seiner Diplomarbeit Totes Gebirge schloß er 2014 das Studium ab. Teile der Diplomarbeit wurden 2014 im Fotohof Salzburg und Ve.sch Wien ausgestellt. Frühere Ausstellungen waren in der Galerie im Brauhof in Scharnstein (2012), in der Hilger Brot Kunsthalle (2010), im Schickaneder Wien (2010), sowie auf der Jahresausstellung der Akademie der bildenden Künste (2009) zu sehen. Johann Schoiswohl hat außerdem an Projekten der Subversiv Messe, des Café Temelin und des Que(e)r Beisl Wien teilgenommen.

NADJIB SIAGH - technical assistance

Nadjib Siagh wurde 1988 in Zeralda, Algerien geboren. Seit 1992 lebt er in Österreich. Er ist dreisprachig aufgewachsen (Arabisch, Deutsch, Französisch), besuchte eine Hotelfachschule am Semmering und macht seit 2011 eine Ausbildung zum Soundingenieur an der SAE Wien.


NICOLAS SIMEHA - performance, music

Born in Paris in 1983, Nicolas first played the violin, then joined the Maitrise de Radio-France .
He trained as a baritone in Dijon, Paris where he also studied Drama and completed his Masters in Musical Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Nicolas is a versatile performer active in many fields.
In Opera, he’s worked with Opera Holland Park, the BBC Symphonic Orchestra, Sinfonia d’amici, and sang roles such as Don Giovanni, Count Almaviva, Figaro, Guglielmo, Barbe-bleue...
In Contemporary music he is a member of the multidisciplinary company Elastic Theater premiering Ivan Hussey’s operas Baroque Box and Julius, collaborated with the Dancer Darren Ellis premiering Evangelia Rigaki’s solo for baritone, appeared as the first bad robber in Judith Weir’s Vanishing Bridegroom with the BBC Sympho- nic Orchestra, sang with a computer for Oded Ben Tal.
Nicolas is performing The Power of Theatrical Madness by Jan Fabre around the world. He is a member of Fabre’s company Troubleyn.
In Baroque music, he is a member of Les Amusemens lyriques and performed for Les Traversées baroques.
In Recital, Nicolas has performed for the Oxford Lieder Festival,in Opera galas in Malaysia, on tour with Richard Alston Dance Company singing Dichterliebe.
The performance artist Lise Lendais has imagined portraits of Nicolas that he per- formed in the gallery Schleifmühlgasse 12/14, Vienna.
Since 6 years, he has also been modeling/acting for the photographer Romain Leblanc.


ELIZABETH WARD

Elizabeth Ward invented Rock n Roll Ballet during the madness of ImPulsTanz 2008. Since then Elizabeth has brought her mix of ballet and improvisation to Bottelarij (Brussels), Danshogskolan (Stockholm), Tanzquartier (Vienna), Prisma Forum (Mexico City), Pa-f (St. Erme, France), Pieter Pasd (Los Angeles), Iceland Academy of Arts (Reykjavik), Lathos Kinisi (Athens), Danscentrum (Goteborg), Dance New Amsterdam (New York) and classclassclass (New York). As a performer she has had the privilege to perform in festivals across North America and Europe with DD Dorvillier, Miguel Gutierrez, Mårten Spångberg, Heather Kravas, Antonija Livingstone and Jennifer Lacey. Her work has been shown at the Kinitiras Residency Centre in Athens and in New York through Movement Research at Judson Church, Danspace, AUNTS, Dixon Place, and the Chocolate Factory. Currently she is working with Andrea Maurer and Thomas Brandstätter on the "Impossible Movement Series" premiering at ImPulsTanz this summer and is conducting a yearlong research project around "Ballet as an Emancipatory Practice" through a.pass in Brussels, Belgium.
